Support Us
We are appealing to the public for support to enable us to continue to keep the Garden open for everyone to enjoy

Become a Friend of the Garden
Opening Dr Neil’s Garden to the public has many running costs including: insurance, repairs to paths, steps and walls, maintaining benches, tree safety work, planting, weeding, and grass cutting.
We have a great bunch of volunteers to help us with much of this physical work, and Trustees (who are also volunteers) who manage the administration required to keep the garden running. However, we still need charitable donations to cover our running costs and all aspects of garden maintenance.
Please become a Friend of the Garden if you want to help the garden continue to thrive and open to all.
Annual Membership is only £15 per year, or a Life Membership is £150 one-off payment. You will receive our regular newsletters by email with the latest news about the Garden and special events.

Ways to Donate
As a small charity, this is now a challenging time for us to continue to maintain and develop the garden. We would therefore appeal to you to support us by attending our fund-raising events, by becoming a Friend and by giving what you can to enable us to continue to keep the garden open free of charge.

When you visit the Garden, you can donate using a debit/credit card via our 'Tap Tap' donation machine situated on the outside wall of the Glass Shelter. Alternatively, when the Garden Room Café is open, cash donations can be made there.

Be a Volunteer
Volunteers are involved with the day-to-day maintenance and ongoing development of the garden.
Currently we have volunteers mainly on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Some people come for the morning, some for the afternoon, and some for the whole day.

Please contact us if you are interested in becoming Volunteer...
